Filming of the 23rd and final season of 'Tell me how it happened' begins
RTVE y Ganga Group The last batch of episodes of 'Cuéntame como paso' are filming in different locations, which will end its television journey with its 23rd season more than two decades after its premiere.
In the coming weeks, a team made up of about eighty professionals will travel to different points in the community of Madrid, Guadalajara, Segovia and Toledo. Filming of the veteran fiction will continue during the summer months, and will end in September. In addition to the San Genaro neighborhood as the main setting, Sagrillas, the fictional town from which the Alcántaras come, will be the second pillar of the season's production.
The 23rd season of Tell me how it happened will cover the period 1994-2001 throughout seven chapters, each of them focused on one of the seven characters in the family: Antonio, Mercedes, Herminia, Inés, Toni, Carlos and María. During this period, current political, social and cultural events of those years will be reflected, such as the elections of 1995 and 1996, the arrival of the Internet and computers in Spanish homes, the explosion of mobile telephony, the birth of the first digital newspapers or the popularity of video game consoles. The script for this batch of chapters, coordinated by Jacob Delgado, will be signed by Sonia Sánchez, Manu Dios, Curro Royo, Joaquín Oristrell and Ignacio del Moral. For its part, the management team, coordinated by Oscar Aibar, will be made up of Agustín Crespi, Antonio Cano and Joaquín Oristrell. Tote Trenas, as it could not be otherwise, will be in charge of photography direction.
Imanol Arias, Ana Duato, María Galiana, Irene Visedo, Pablo Rivero, Carmen Climent, Paloma Bloyd and Ana Arias, William Miller and Carlos Serrano-Clark, Álvaro Díaz and Asier Valdestilla, in addition to the voice of Carlos Hipólito, lead a cast of several dozen actors, including veterans Manolo Cal, Silvia Espigado, Carmen Balagué and Jorge Basanta, among others. Ganga Group y RTVE have confirmed that Ricardo Gómez will return in the final episode to say goodbye to his character, Carlos Alcántara, accompanied by Elena Rivera.
Some of the actors joining this season are Carlos Santos, winemaker at the Antonio Alcántara wineries; Ana Turpin, theater director; Alberto Castrillo, journalist, and the girl Sofía Otero, Silver Bear at the 73rd Berlin International Film Festival, who will play Sol Alcántara, daughter of Toni and Déborah.
