Hispasat incorporates the High TV 3D channel on 30º Oeste into its audiovisual offering

Hispasat continues to focus on the distribution of high-quality television content, both in 3D and 4K format.

High TV 3DHispasat adds the High TV 3D channel to its audiovisual offering in its European coverage. This initiative is the first 3D content channel that broadcasts 24 hours a day, and will reach millions of homes with top quality productions.

The new channel is distributed through the Hispasat 1E satellite from the 30º West orbital position and in collaboration with Telefónica Audiovisual Services. The unbeatable coverage of Hispasat satellites from this position, over Europe, America and North Africa, and their high power make them the ideal vehicle for the distribution of this type of content in these areas.

The satellite operator and High TV 3D are also exploring different possibilities to collaborate in the distribution of 4K content, a technology in which Hispasat has proven experience since it currently distributes its own channel, Hispasat 4K, presented in September at the IBC fair in Amsterdam.

In recent months, Hispasat has initiated, from its powerful position in 30º Oeste, different actions focused on its portfolio of content providers, teleports and operators to offer advanced business schemes in the distribution of TV signals.
