Atresmedia and Telemundo close a strategic agreement
With this alliance, Nova will have the best product from one of the global giants of soap opera production in the coming seasons.
Nova, the Atresmedia Television channel, has signed a strategic agreement with Telemundo, one of the main global producers and distributors of soap operas. With this new alliance, Nova will have in the coming seasons the premieres of the best television series on the international market and the very extensive catalog of productions from one of the global giants of this television genre.
Nova closed 2013 with a 2.1% share, its historical audience record, and became the most viewed female theme with a 2.7% share. It easily surpassed Mediaset's women's themes in the year: +0.4 vs. Divinity, +0.9 vs. LaSiete, +1.4 vs. Nine.
The Atresmedia channel also ended last year as the subject with the greatest growth compared to 2012 (+0.5) and, from Monday to Friday, it was the most watched subject with its offer of teleseries, and even ahead, on occasions, of some general ones, thanks to productions such as The landlady.
