Digiturk updates its infrastructure with Grass Valley solutions

Turkish pay-TV operator selects Grass Valley audio and video arrays and control systems to improve flexibility, efficiency and ease of use.

The Turkish satellite pay television operator Digiturk will expand its facilities by incorporating several satellite solutions Grass Valley: a Trinix 192x192 matrix, an Apex Plus 384x384 digital audio routing switcher, a Maestro control system and the Jupiter controller.

The new streaming infrastructure will allow Digiturk to further improve the performance of its programming while consolidating its current streaming infrastructure and allowing greater control and creative freedom for its broadcasts.

Umut Akinci, Head of Systems at Digiturk, admits that "we have been Grass Valley customers for many years and have been very satisfied with the performance and reliability of their products, so it was an obvious choice for us to select the brand for our installation upgrade...
