Teradek Bolt Pro 300, 600 and 2000

Teradek Cube Pro TCBTeradek has announced in Las Vegas three new video streaming systems for its popular Bolt product line. The Bolt Pro 300, 600 and 2000 now feature HDMI and 3G-SDI TX input and send the signal to new fanless designed receivers, including one with the GRAB engine, making the Bolt Pro the world's first cable-free video capture card.

The Bolt Pro 300 short-range, Bolt Pro 600 mid-range and Bolt Pro 2000 long-range transmit 10bit RGB uncompressed video in less than 1ms latency. Each system is multicast, capable of hosting up to 4 receivers, so that transmission can be carried out to multiple recipients at once.

Cube Pro H.264

Teradek also presents at NAB 2014 the new Cube Pro + Timecode Buddy, the latest addition to the Cube family of encoders. Cube Pro is an H.264 rear camera encoder with a Timecode Buddy system: with integrated ONE control keypad, for highly tuned cable-free timecode control and genlock above 900MHz band.

Cube Pro offers a significant number of improvements over current Cube models, as a result of its two new co-processors, which enable higher bit rate encoding in streams, as well as lower latency streaming and real-time HD monitoring on both iOS and Android devices. Cube Pro can also utilize Teradek's latest mobile software solutions, including TeraView, which allows users to monitor and record up to 4 video streams on a single iPad simultaneously.

The inclusion of the Timecode Buddy system: ONE control keyboard gives Cube Pro users TC IN, TC OUT and Genlock Out on all cameras connected to the device. The integration also makes the Cube Pro automatically compatible with the entire Timecode Buddy: system, Denecke TS-TCB IntellisSlate, and all the multiple third-party support applications (MovieSlate, Adobe Prelude LiveLogger, Softron Move Recorder, and IN2CORE QTakeHD). As a result, Teradek users enjoy robust multi-camera RF synchronization, built-in tightly timecoded video streams, and the ability to use metadata embedded in the SDI stream for intelligent wireless content logging.

Teradek TeraView

Streaming device for iPad and Android: Serv

Teradek Serv is a pioneering monitoring system based on a desktop HD-SDI transmitter that will allow clients and production staff to view each image in real time on their smartphones and tablets. Serv supports up to 10 connections at the same time and transmits both HD and SD video and audio in perfect sync with dual band WiFi. Since Serv uses WiFi networks, you could easily extend its range by adding any standard dual-band router to the system.

And what happens to the latency of my phone or tablet? It's not a problem. Serv streams with only 4 frames delay and is compatible with the Teradek TeraView app, which allows you to view and record up to 4 live streams simultaneously on your iPad or Samsung Galaxy Pro tablet with the same low latency. Serv is also completely free.
