The Teatro Real and RTVE sign a collaboration agreement

This agreement will enhance the cooperation framework between both institutions, including the retransmission of operas, children's shows and the possibility of streaming through the RTVE website.

The Teatro Real and RTVE have signed a collaboration agreement by which the link between both institutions will be strengthened, within the existing cooperation framework, for the support and dissemination of the Teatro Real's cultural offering.

En el acto de firma han participado el presidente del Teatro Real, Gregorio Marañón; el director general de la institución, Ignacio García-Belenguer y el presidente de RTVE, Leopoldo González-Echenique. Todos han destacado la relevancia del acuerdo, que servirá para dar continuidad a la colaboración histórica entre ambas instituciones, y contribuirá de forma destacada a la apertura del Teatro Real a la ciudadanía y a la creación de nuevos públicos.

In this sense, the president and general director of the Teatro Real have congratulated and thanked RTVE for the work it carries out as a sign of its commitment to culture, and for contributing to making the Teatro Real's opera programming more accessible to society.

The agreement provides, in addition to maintaining the informative and informative work that RTVE offers in its different spaces, to increase the collaboration of both institutions in the broadcast of the operas, including children's shows, and the possibility of broadcasting in streaming through any of the TVE channels and the Corporation's website. Likewise, it contemplates promoting broadcasts through self-promotion spaces created for this purpose, provided that the programming of the different TVE channels allows it.
