Unity 3D, After Effects CC, interactive mapping and Final Cut, star in the summer courses at the Centa School in Bilbao.

Unity 3D

During the month of July, the School A cent will offer specialized courses in four different areas within new audiovisual technologies in Bilbao.

The creation of video games will be one of the strong points of this commitment that CENTA makes in the capital of Bilbao.

The program that will be taught will be Unity 3D, a software that very few training centers offer and whose use in the video game industry is, however, very high. Through practical projects, the student will learn not only to program, create scenes, import objects, but also the techniques and workflows most used in companies that develop video games for Microsoft Xbox ONE, Sony Play Station PS4 or Nintendo Wii U.

In the first two weeks, from June 30 to July 10, from Monday to Thursday, a 40-hour introductory course with Unity 3D will be taught for which no prior knowledge will be necessary. The following two weeks, from July 14 to 24, from Monday to Thursday, we will move on to the advanced level video game development course with Unity 3D. A course that will also consist of 40 hours.

The two courses will be taught by Roberto Sueiro, a video game developer for video game consoles with extensive experience in international projects. The schedule will be tomorrow, from 09:30 to 14:30.

For the afternoons of July, from 3:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., the offer will be varied and interesting: The first week, from July 30 to 4, we will learn about the latest version of the post-production program par excellence, After Effects CC. The level will be introductory, a good way to learn to know this software from Ignacio Zabala, current coordinator of the Master in editing and post-production offered by Centa, a professional with extensive experience behind him as an editor and teacher.

The second week, from July 7 to 11, we change perspective thanks to the Interactive Mapping with Kinect course. Thanks to Julen Salazar, we will learn how to compose interactive virtual spaces through the Processing Program and the implementation of Kinect as a control element of our Sketches.

And the third, from July 14 to 18, we are recovering After again, but this time it is the course in After Effects CC, advanced level, for those who have been left wanting more or think that they already know the basics and want to jump directly to it. Abel Baños will be in charge of teaching it. Adobe Certified Instructor in After Effects, Premiere and Photoshop, he has more than 15 years of experience as an editor and graphic designer.

And finally, for the last week, from July 21 to 24, we have reserved space for the most used video editing program in the world, Final Cut. Again with the help of Ignacio Zabala, we will learn to edit in its new version, Final Cut Pro X.
