Eurocom delivers a new project in Panama

Eurocom's advanced project management, control and supervision system allows the State Radio and Television System of Panama to migrate its production and continuity to high definition in a record time of just one month.

Eurocom The high definition update of the technical areas of the State Radio and Television System of Panama has been successfully completed.

In this project, the technical areas of production and continuity have been updated, putting the Panamanian public channel on the first technological line in a high definition environment.

One of the main challenges that Eurocom faced in this case was being able to make the change without the television stopping broadcasting at any time. To do this, the integrator carried out meticulous engineering, installation and commissioning of the entire system.

Aware of the importance that these changes would mean in the day-to-day life of the channel's professionals, with a profound reorganization of the workflows, Eurocom carried out the training of all the technical staff and operators of the Panamanian broadcaster.

On the other hand, Eurocom was also in charge of the design and manufacturing of the new technical furniture that replaced the previous one.

Among the equipment supplied for this project, solutions include: Everzt, Grass Valley, Ross y DK Technologies.

In record time

One aspect to highlight is that the execution period of the entire project until its completion has been only one month. This is possible thanks to the advanced control and supervision system that Eurocom implements in its integrations and that allows all the professionals involved in the project, both on the part of the integrator and the client, to carry out detailed management, control and monitoring work in real time. This tool, as has once again been evident in the case of Radio and Television of Panama, allows considerable savings in costs and deadlines.
