Eurocom concludes Telefónica's new DTH monitoring center in Peru

En apenas dos meses, Eurocom pone en marcha en Perú uno de los centros para monitorado para televisión por satélite (DTH) e Internet por satélite (DiSat) más avanzados de América Latina.

Eurocom continúa afianzando su presencia internacional en este caso concluyendo un nuevo proyecto llave en mano. El integrador ha llevado a cabo en Perú el nuevo centro de monitorado para televisión por satélite (DTH) e Internet por satélite (DiSat).

Eurocom's extensive experience in the execution of international projects as well as the management and control of the integration process have been two of the keys why Telefónica has once again trusted Eurocom. The project execution time was just two months, a record time for carrying out this type of project.

Prior to the execution of the project, Eurocom carried out consulting work, from civil works to advising and searching for technical solutions that met the requirements that the end client required. Once this preliminary phase was completed, and after the client's acceptance, the integration and supply of the necessary equipment was preceded, including the start-up of the system.

In order to provide the complete turnkey solution, Eurocom was also responsible for the design of the technical furniture and support of the video wall screens thanks to the work of the industrial engineering department it has. Finally, to finalize the project, Eurocom carried out the training of the technical personnel who will be in charge of operating the center.

We can highlight as Eurocom's main contributions the design of the furniture on three curved levels for 50 operators and with the possibility of expansion and designed for the integration of technical equipment. The characteristics of this technical furniture are wedge racks for the implementation of the necessary technical equipment, solutions for the correct ventilation of the equipment as well as distribution and concealment of the necessary wiring.

• Distribution and certification of 135 Ethernet points divided into 3 management networks, all with “Cat.6A” cabling
• Adaptable mechanics for the installation of 40 Splitters and 113 Set Top Box (between furniture and Racks), with the capacity to expand
• Transfer, installation and integration of equipment supplied by the client
