De momento, Netflix iniciará su oferta en 4K con la producción House of cards.
La popular plataforma de VoD, Netflix, ha iniciado la distribución de contenidos en Ultra HD 4K. De momento, esta experiencia se podrá disfrutar únicamente en los televisores Samsung UH8550 y UH9000, pero próximamente se podrá ver también en equipos Sony, LG y Vizio.
Eso sí, la empresa recomienda tener ancho de banda disponible de al menos 20 Mbps, ya que el stream de Netflix en 4K consumirá unos 16 Mbps a los que habría que sumar un margen de seguridad para la fluctuación del servicio.
De momento, Netflix iniciará su oferta en 4K con la producción House of cards. A finales de este año, espera añadir Breaking Bad y otras producciones originales a la oferta.
Netflix adelantó que a medida que más productores de contenidos cambien y produzcan más en Ultra Alta Definición, así avance la masterización en este formato, ofrecerá más opciones a alta resolución 3840×2160 y hasta 60 fotogramas por segundo.
