Atypical Films begins filming the Netflix series 'The Girl in the Snow'

Based on the bestseller by Javier Castillo, Atypical Films produce para Netflix The snow girl, a six-episode thriller directed by David Ulloa (The hunt. Monteperdido) and Laura Alvea (Souls).

The series will star Milena Smit (Parallel mothers, Thou shalt not kill), Jose Coronado (The innocent, The body), Aixa Villagran (Perfect life, Crazy for her), Tristán Ulloa (Fariña, Modesty), Loreto Mauleón (Homeland, Kisses in the air), Julián Villagrán (Extraterrestrial), Raúl Prieto (Anti-disturbances) and Cecilia Freire (Velvet), among others.

The adaptation of the novel published by Penguin Random House Grupo Editorial with more than a million copies sold in Spain has been carried out Jesus Mesas y Javier Andrés Roig (Debts, I'm alive) and directed by David Ulloa (The hunt. Monteperdido) y Laura Alvea (Souls).

After filming in Malaga, Atypical Films (production company founded by José Antonio Félez y Cristina Sutherland in 2009) will continue its production in Madrid.

The series focuses on the investigation of the disappearance of the girl Amaya Martín during the May Kings parade in Málaga in 2010. The most magical moment of the year turns into a nightmare for the Martín family when their daughter Amaya disappears in the crowd. Miren (Milena Smit), a trainee journalist, begins an investigation parallel to that of Inspector Millán (Aixa Villagrán) that will awaken aspects of her past that she would have liked to forget. With the help of his journalist colleague Eduardo (Jose Coronado), Miren will not stop until he finds the girl.
