Vaca Films shoots for Netflix the new series 'Hasta el cielo', directed by Daniel Calparsoro
This week the filming of up to the sky, a new series produced by Vaca Films (The mess you leave, Cell 211) to Netflix and that continues the story of the film of the same name.
As in the feature film, the direction will be carried out by Daniel Calparsoro (Leap into the void, One hundred years of forgiveness) y Jorge Guerricaechevarría (Who kills with iron, Cell 211) signs the script for this new fiction whose cast is headed by Asia Ortega (To the sky, those of hockey), Luis Tosar (Midas' Favorites, Emperor Code), Álvaro Rico (Elite, Holy Family), debutante Alana The Sheikh's Daughter, Richard Holmes, Patricia Vico (To Heaven, The Adventures of Captain Alatriste), Fernando Cayo (The Money Heist) and urban music artists Ayax Pedrosa, Dollar Selmouni and Jarfaiter, who were already part of the film's cast.
This new fiction will be filmed over the next few weeks in locations of Paris, Madrid, the Algarve, Lisbon, Galicia (in places in A Coruña and Lugo) and Nigeria.
In up to the sky, a call in the middle of the night will change the destiny of Sole (Asia Ortega): Ángel, her husband and leader of a gang of aluniceros has died; Converted overnight into a young widow with a son to take care of and many troubled businesses to carry out, Sole is not willing to return under the tutelage of her father Rogelio (Luis Tosar), one of the biggest traffickers of stolen objects in Madrid. Determined to make a life for herself, Sole will find new allies along the way who will help her unravel the mystery of the deaths that have marked her destiny while she regains contact with the gang of Alunicers and manages to gain their trust to once again carry out robberies as ambitious as those of the old days. But neither the police nor the different mafias with which he will have to compete will be willing to make it easy for him to get to heaven.
