Atypical Films and Netflix begin filming the second season of 'The Snow Girl'

In locations in Malaga and Madrid, Atypical Films produce for Netflix the second season of the series 'The Snow Girl', a six-episode thriller based on 'The Soul Game', a bestseller published by Suma (Penguin Random House) by writer Javier Castillo.

The series again stars Milena Smit (Hole 2, Parallel Mothers) in the role of journalist Miren Rojo. Miki Esparbé (The innocent, Smiley) joins the cast as Jaime, a new colleague of Miren in the newspaper Sur and Aixa Villagrán (The messiah, Perfect life), Marco Cáceres and Jose Coronado (The innocent, Entrevías). Rounding out the cast are Hugo Welzel (The left-handed son), Luis Callejo (The longest night, Bajocero), Luis Bermejo (Rainbow, Magical Girl) and Vicente Romero (The gypsy bride).

Jesús Mesas and Javier Andrés Roig (Debts, I'm alive) are in charge of this adaptation to the screen that they direct again David Ulloa (The hunt. Monteperdido) y Laura Alvea (Souls).

The first season of The snow girl in its opening week it reached overall top 1 in series in non-English speaking most viewed on Netflix and was in the Top 10 of 77 countries for several weeks, including number 1 in countries such as Spain, France, Sweden or Belgium among many others.

After the events that occurred in the first season of The snow girl, Miren this time investigates an elitist school that seems to be at the center of the disappearance and murder of two young people. He will do it alongside Jaime (Miki Esparbé), an investigative journalist who arrives at the newspaper Sur fleeing from his past and trying to recover his lost reputation.
