News in the new season
The seventh season of the Antena 3 series will bring numerous new features that will shake up the lives of the inhabitants of the popular Plaza de los Frutos. The new installment, which will arrive in mid-September, will take a six-year time jump to 1975.
Another of the great novelties that the protagonists of the series will face is the construction of a stately hotel, which is what the Benigna hostel will become. A wealthy family will take over the business, bringing with them secrets that they will never want to see the light of day. The hotel will not only change the image of the neighborhood, but also the relationships of many of its neighbors: in one way or another, the hotel will be present in their daily lives.
Immersed in the beginning of the Transition, a new satirical magazine opens in the neighborhood. Its editors and illustrators will become part of the day-to-day life and live with the rest of the residents of the Plaza de los Frutos.
Not to be left behind, Marcelino and Manolita's Asturiano will also undergo a facelift, although the bar still needs something more than that...
The air of modernity also reaches the King's Club, which will bet on cabaret acts. The arrival of Amelia, a young woman who works at the hotel during the day and dances at the King's at night, will give a lot to talk about.
These new plots involve major changes in settings and decorations, which considerably expand their size, and which will be easily appreciated by the viewer of the series.
