Bambú and Atresmedia begin filming 'The club of the misunderstood'

Adaptation of the bestseller 'Good morning, princess', it will be the first feature film directed by Carlos Sedes.

Based on the successful young adult novel Good morning, princess, first part of the trilogy created by the Spanish writer Francisco de Paula, popularly known as Blue Jeans, filming has just begun in Madrid and Galicia. The club of the misunderstood.

Produced by Bambú Producciones (Velvet, Great Hotel, Great Reserve) and Atresmedia Cine (The Great Spanish Family, Zipi and Zape and the Marble Club, Three Too Many Weddings), the film will be the first feature film directed by Carlos Sedes, director of such successful television series as Hispania, Great Hotel o Velvet.

The club of the misunderstood stars a group of young actors, composed of Charlotte Vega (The secret of Puente Viejo), Ivana Baquero (winner of a Goya Award for Pan's Labyrinth), Àlex Maruny (Phantom Promotion), Michelle Calvó (Welcome to Lolita), Andrea Trepat (Great Hotel), Jorge Clemente (sad trumpet ballad), Iria del Río (Loving in troubled times), Álvaro Díaz (in apathy), Paula Muñoz (Stolen children) and Patrick Criado (Goya nominee for Best New Actor for The great Spanish family).

With a script by Ramón Campos, Gema R. Neira, Cristóbal Garrido and Adolfo Valor, the story focuses on Valeria (Charlotte Vega), a young woman who has just moved to Madrid after her parents' separation. At her new school, Valeria is forced to attend meetings with the counselor that other classmates also attend. What at first would seem like a bad start to Valeria's new existence ends up becoming the beginning of an incredible life experience. New friendships, a city full of possibilities, first love... intense experiences that will forever change the lives of this new group of friends.
