'Amar es para siempre' comes to an end 2,800 episodes later on Antena 3
After beginning its journey in 2005 as 'Amar en troubled times' in RTVE and make the jump to Antena 3 in 2013 as 'Amar es para siempre', the fiction currently produced by Atresmedia TV in collaboration with Diagonal (Banijay Iberia) says goodbye as “the longest-running series on television” after accompanying the viewers of the Atresmedia network daily with more than 2,800 episodes.
The daily series Love is forever will reach its conclusion in the night of March 6 with a final chapter which will be broadcast in prime time, right after The anthill. After twelve seasons on Antena 3, totaling eleven years and more than 2,800 episodes broadcast, the “longest-running fiction on television” (Atresmedia dixit) will close a career of enormous success on television in Spain. It does so by remaining leader of his band with an average that is close to 1.2 million viewers (11.8% share), reaching more than 2.2 million unique viewers every day, and giving its witness to Dreams of freedom.
Produced by Atresmedia Television in collaboration with Diagonal (Banijay Iberia), Love is forever It has Montse García (Atresmedia TV), Jaume Banacolocha, Jordi Frades and Eduardo Casanova (Diagonal) in the executive production. The fiction directed by Eduardo Casanova has Pablo Fajardo as script plot director, Ariana Martin as rundown coordinator and Ángel Agudo as dialogue coordinator. This season has been written by Olga Salvador, Macu Tejera, Juanjo Ramírez and Pablo Fajardo, while the production direction has been carried out by Nuria Hernàndez and Marta Creus.
After the broadcast of its final episode, Love is forever will say goodbye with a special program called See you always, love, presented by Manel Fuentes and Rebeca Haro, with the participation of the actors Itziar Miranda, Manu Baqueiro, José Antonio Sayagués, Ángeles Martín, Iñaki Miramón and Miriam Díaz Aroca, and with the presence of Eduardo Casanova, director of the series.
A farewell with digital and musical initiatives
He digital area has joined this great farewell with various actions designed for fans of the series. From the site www.finalamar.es, followers will be able to discover exclusive content about what happens after the Plaza de Los Frutos, with interviews, games and confessions of the actors. In addition, there will be a review of the best moments of the series, through a timeline which collects the milestones of all seasons. It will also be published making of of the last chapters to live them in a different way with Conchi Casado, the number one fan of Love is forever.
The final touch will arrive on March 9 with a video in which the Atresmedia digital team accompanies José Antonio Sayagués, Itziar Miranda and Manu Baqueiro to the last day of filming of the series. Furthermore, coinciding with the broadcast of the last chapter, Atresmúsica publishes The Plaza de los Frutos suite, and theme narrated by Itziar Miranda, Manu Baqueiro and José Antonio Sayagüés, who is accompanied on piano by Javier Casado Sudupe. Inspired by a pasodoble, this piece tells the importance of the Plaza de los Frutos stage, witness to the most emblematic stories of the series.
