How to finance and internationalize an audiovisual project in Europe?

On June 11, a conference that will address the financing and internationalization of audiovisual projects in Europe will take place in the Auditorium of the Secretary of State for Culture in Madrid.

Film financing

The MEDIA 2014-2020 subprogram organizes an information session on June 11 in which it will address the possibilities of financing and internationalization of an audiovisual project in Europe.

The opening of the session that will take place in the Auditorium of the Secretary of State for Culture (San Marcos, 40 Madrid) will be led by the general director of the Institute of Cinematography and Audiovisual Arts (ICAA), Susana de la Sierra.

Pablo Pérez de Lema, head of service in the General Subdirectorate of Promotion and International Relations of the ICAA, will address the success factors in the EURIMAGES program and the MEDIA subprogram.

Pilar Benito (Morena Films), Mariela Besuievsky (Tornasol films/Latido Films), Marina Fuentes (Six Sales) and Silvia Iturbe (Latido Films) will discuss the point of view of the producer and the sales agent in international co-productions.

Por otro lado, Miguel Ángel Sánchez, socio de Hogan Lovells, expondrá las posibilidades de financiación de las AIEs mientras que Carlos Solans, Global Banking & Markets, Asset & Capital Structuring-Banco de Santander, expondrá los criterios bancarios para estructurar una operación en entornos de agrupaciones de interés económico.

Finally, Xavier Parache will share with attendees the different bank financing instruments.
