The new SRX-T423 model offers great contrast and performance flexibility in 4K projection applications.

The 4K (4096 x 2160) resolution projector doubles the light efficiency of competitive 3D systems, with 40,000 lumens of 3D brightness in dual projection mode. In addition to its high brightness, it offers a contrast ratio of 3000:1.

The new projector has been designed to offer ease of use for system integrators and AV professionals while reducing maintenance issues. For example, the T423 can be coupled with lenses from other SRX series models, while the unit also offers a vertical tilt angle of +/- 30 degrees, making it perfect for dome setups.

The SXRD projector's 4K resolution comes from its 4096 x 2160 pixel matrix, providing more than 8.8 million pixels and delivering more than four times the resolution of today's consumer HDTVs. Sony 4K technology is used around the world in a wide variety of commercial applications such as computer image display, planetarium and museum exhibits, command and control systems, simulations, scientific research, the education sector and defense systems.

The SRX-T423 projector will be available in September.
