In a pioneering initiative, Interactives of public radio and television, in collaboration with Droiders, a Spanish start-up based in Murcia specialized in the development of applications for Google Glass, have developed an application for the new Google device that allows you to watch live the main TVE channels: La 1, La 2, 24 Horas and TDP.

Google glasses are a technological garment (“wearable device”), a device that is worn and that allows technology to be used in a more natural way. Currently in its development phase, the device until now had different applications for facial recognition, photography, news, etc. The new application, a pioneer in the world, will allow the owners of the glasses to watch the different TVE channels from anywhere in the world.

With the application for Google Glass, the first in the world to watch television, RTVE.es adds one more platform to those that already allow access to TVE and RNE content. Currently present with different proposals for audio and video content on the web, mobile phones, tablets, connected televisions and consoles, with this innovative application it enters the field of wearable devices that propose new ways to enjoy content.
