Ficción sonora RNE 'La isla del tesoro'

The RNE Sound Fiction team has taken to the sea for the first time and has released 'Treasure Island', with the actor Roberto Álamo in one of the leading roles, the pirate Long John Silver. RNE's adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson's classic novel moves away from epic childhood adventures to show a story of greed, betrayal and revenge. A fiction that navigates a sordid world where anything goes to get money and power.

Mid-18th century. The former crew of the cruel and bloodthirsty Captain Flint infiltrates the passage of Hispaniola, a chartered schooner to recover the treasure that its leader buried on an uninhabited Caribbean island.

Ficción sonora RNE 'La isla del tesoro'Roberto Álamo (Goya in 2014 for best supporting actor for The great Spanish family; Max Award in 2013 for best male lead performance in Urtain, also converted into Study 1 from TVE; and Juan de Calatrava in Red Eagle) has given life to Long John Silver, the one-legged pirate who personifies the inevitable attraction towards evil.

With a script adapted by Alfonso Latorre, directed by Mayca Aguilera and directed by Benigno Moreno, 'Treasure Island' premiered this Wednesday at La Casa Encendida in Madrid. The public has also been able to follow it live on Radio 3 and, for the first time, in streaming through RTVE.es, with images made with several cameras and sound produced by RNE and students of the RTVE Institute, to enjoy the story from anywhere, as if they were in the room itself.

The RNE Sound Fiction team continues to propose innovations and has taken another step in the quality of sound production. The first multichannel sound experience that has been made in Spain for radio fiction programs has already been completed, and RNE will soon make available to listeners the podcasts of previous sound fictions with the best 5.1 sound.
