PlayBox Technology has updated its PlayBox platform with the launch of the new AirBox Neo multichannel playout server.
The new update will allow AirBox systems to be used with Windows 10, with Intel-certified CPUs, including the sixth generation Core I7 and the Xeon Processor E5 v4 family.
Don Ash, CEO of PlayBox, says that “among other new features, we can mention advanced automation, ingest control for CaptureBox Neo, a service description table for streaming outputs and an automatic playlist that is exported when there are changes to these lists” said Ash.
AirBox Neo is designed to work 24 hours a day both in manual mode and fully automated with UHD, HD and SD material on the same machine.
PlayBox will also showcase at IBC 2016 the TitleBox Neo solution, which offers a full range of subtitling capabilities and interactive text boxes that can be manipulated live, now handling UHD, HD and SD projects at the same time.
It will also be worth taking a closer look at the latest improvements in the CaptureBox Neo solution that allows you to capture up to four SD or HD video sources simultaneously, controlling the entire process from a single station and a simple interface.
Finally, highlight the demonstrations that the company will carry out of its popular SubtitleNext solution, an advanced software platform for the creation, management, broadcast and conversion of subtitles, titles and other text services, for the multimedia industry, including production, post-production, radio, television, film, opera and theater, advertising, entertainment, and any other genre where synchronized texts are necessary.
SubtitleNext has the ability to dramatically improve speed and efficiency while simplifying processes throughout the entire work cycle. The product line also includes various software licensing tiers and options, ranging from the entry-level SubtitleNext Novice to SubtitleNext Expert.
