The Polish platform Kino Polska trusts PlayBox for its multichannel broadcasting

Kino Polska ha integrado una docena de servidores HD AirBox, dos servidores SubtitlePlus DVB, una Muxer DVB y otras soluciones de PlayBox Technology.

PlayBox Technology ha integrado en la plataforma polaca Kino Polska una completa solución de emisión multicanal en DVB. La empresa del grupo SPI ofrece a sus clientes numerosos canales incluyendo las nueve programaciones incluidas en el paquete FilmBox, así como FashionBox, FightBox, DocuBox… configurando una oferta de más de 15 canales. Todos los canales se emiten en formato 16:9, la mayoría en HD, y se transmiten a Europa Central y Oriental.

Kino Polska chose the PlayBox Technology workflow implementing the AirBox DVB splayback platform. Marcin Kowalski, CEO of FilmBox and Kino Polska channels, commented: "PlayBox Technology offers a unique and reliable DVB platform as an excellent subtitling solution, with fast and reliable support and, last but not least, all at a very reasonable price. We have established a cooperation between PlayBox and Kino Polska TV that started in 2010 and so far we have purchased a dozen HD AirBox servers, two SubtitlePlus DVB servers, one DVB muxer and other solutions.”

"We use a simple transmission workflow to our channels in different countries. The use of different DVB channels with the help of SubtitlePlus allows us to support up to 255 languages. Using PlayBox DVB Muxer we greatly simplify our work and distribute the signal with subtitles in several languages ​​​​in several countries. Depending on our needs, the output streams can be IP MPEG-2 or H.264," says Kowalski.

Kino Polska TV's future plans include expanding the DVB workflow to open more channels in Poland and other regions of Central and Eastern Europe. These will be based on the same workflow with PlayBox servers and systems.
