International Telesur installs a modern news production system based on VSN technology

The ambitious project will have an innovative VSN solution platform its production environment, with 16 ingestion channels, 15 MAM licenses, 15 vsniptransfer licenses and 48TB of storage integrated with Avid News Cutter and INEWS.

The Venezuelan International Telesur has launched an innovative news production system based on content management technology VSNexplorer and the Vsnspider platform of VSN for the management and automation of workflows. This will endow the system of speed, ease of use and integration with social networks and streaming and vod platforms.

The solution provided contemplates the integration with the INEWS news writing platform that already has the chain, with licenses for 15 journalists, 5 Avid NewScutter editors, and centralized storage for 48TB production, which houses the gross contents and transparently edited for the environment Avid.

In the same way, an automated process for the digitalization of content agencies based on VSNAUTITOREC Director is included, which controls 2 VSNAUTOREC Capturer+ two channels each for a total of four channels, which recorded by base band in OPATOM format. This subsequently allows native integration with NewScutter editors, this being one of the most powerful integrations in the industry with Avid editing environments. In addition, additional intake 12ch of other news chains based on 6 VSNBROADREC two channels of two channels each were also included.

An important challenge to solve was to manage the numerous correspondents that Tellesur has worldwide.
