The President of the CCMA, Brauli Duart, assumes the presidency of FORTA
He replaces Joaquín Durán Ayo, deputy general director of the Public Business Agency of Radio Television of Andalusia and director of Canal Sur Television.
The president of the Catalan Corporation of Audiovisuals Mitjans (CCMA), Brauli Duart i Llinares, will now assume the presidency of the Federation of Autonomous Radio and Television Organizations (FORTA). Both the new president and the General Board have expressed their willingness to maintain and strengthen the unity of action and cooperation between regional radio and television stations, in line with the founding objectives of FORTA.
At the same time, the General Board has unanimously agreed to congratulate the outgoing president, Joaquín Durán Ayo, deputy director general of the Public Business Agency of Radio Television of Andalusia and director of Canal Sur Television for the management carried out in the six months of his statutory mandate. This management, in the opinion of the General Board of FORTA, has been characterized by the dedication and capacity that has been demonstrated in the defense of the interests of the autonomous communities and in the empowerment of the organization within the Spanish audiovisual panorama.
