Los mezcladores Allen & Heath juegan un papel destacado en el Mundial

Fox Sports Brazil, the main network of the World Cup broadcasts, used a GLD-80 digital console connected via Dante to three Lawo consoles and 3 RTS matrices for the broadcasts made from Rio de Janeiro.

Allen & Heath has played a prominent role in the broadcasts of the World Football Championship matches held in Brazil. The firm's Brazilian distributor has supplied several consoles, which have been used in the various stadiums, in mobile units and in the central control rooms.

Fox Sports Brazil, the main network of the World Cup broadcasts, used a GLD-80 digital console connected via Dante to three Lawo consoles and 3 RTS matrices for the broadcasts made from Rio de Janeiro. The Sigma chain used compact Qu-16 and Qu-24 digital mixers, in addition to two iLive iDR16 and two iDR48 MixRacks.

A GLD8o console was installed at the Fox Sports studio in Sao Paulo earlier this year. As part of the system, an AR412 remote I/O rack was included as the system master, with two AR84 expansion racks installed in the Fox studio along with the mixer. The system has been used to provide audio transmission to journalists located in the 12 stadiums where matches have been held.

All systems for the Fox Sports Brazil studios, Fox and the International Broadcast Center (IBC), which acts as headquarters for FIFA TV and its associated companies, were interconnected via Dante using fiber optic cables.

Además, también se utilizaron mesas de Allen & Heath en varias unidades móviles, como las utilizadas por Fox Sports Brazil y Fox Sports Argentina. Estas unidades móviles, que han sido utilizadas durante todo el campeonato en diversa localizaciones, están equipadas con mezcladores GLD-80, Qu-16 y Qu-24 y un mezclador DSP iDR, también conectado vía Dante.
