AMC begins its international expansion
The channel will extend to payment and satellite platforms of Europe, Latin America, Asia, Africa and the Middle East at the end of the year.
AMC Networks will replace MGM Channel with the AMC channel. This change involves the beginning of the distribution outside North America for AMC, one of the most popular and award -winning brands of television. The original AMC Networks series Halt & Catch Fire and The Divide, produced by AMC Studios, will be the first series of own production to premiere on the channel.
