The action camera segment, where GoPro reigns to date, will now have a new competitor. Polaroid has just presented the new Cube at Photokina. Developed jointly with Ammunition, this camera captures video in high definition and has a lens capable of offering an angle of up to 120 degrees.
The camera, which is expected to be launched by the end of the year, will be marketed with several accessories for easy mounting on any surface.
To help Polaroid recover its years of splendor, Ammunition has developed the new Polaroid Cube, conceived as a waterproof 35mm camera designed for a young and active audience capable of recording at 1080 or 720p with 6 megapixel images. It has an integrated microphone and 2GB of internal memory.
