Al Jazeera acquires Arabic broadcast rights to BRB's new series 'Invizimals'
The television series 'Invizimals', co-produced by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, Screen 21, Corporació Catalana de Mitjans Audiovisuals and TVE, gains international projection even months before its premiere.
BRB International will bring the latest news about the series Invizimals to the next edition of MIPCOM (Cannes, October 13-16), ahead of its premiere scheduled for the end of this year worldwide. The production, based on a successful PlayStation video game saga, will present a soundtrack performed by Abraham Mateo, in its Spanish version, in addition to announcing new agreements, including its next broadcast in Arabic for Al Jazeera children's channels.
In fact, the singer Abraham Mateo himself has just released the video clip Cazado about a song full of magic, imagination and rhythm that the young artist has written and performed especially for the animated series Invizimals. In addition to this song, which will close the 26 episodes of the series, the artist will also perform his tune in the Spanish version that Clan, on TVE, will premiere at the end of the year.
On the other hand, the series Invizimals will announce its new international expansion plans starting with its next broadcast in Arabic through Al Jazeera's children's channels, in Russian (through Multimania) or in Hungarian, Romanian and Czech through Megamax, one of the main channels of AMC Networks Central Europe. At the moment, the broadcast of its two TV-Movies in Spain (Clan, from TVE, and Super3, from TVC), France (Gulli), Portugal (SIC), Italy (K2), Greece (Star) and Australia (Eleven) has already reached more than 8 million viewers.
The television series Invizimals, co-produced by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, Screen 21, Corporació Catalana de Mitjans Audiovisuals and TVE, brings to life the adventures of the young scientist Keni Nakamura and the Alliance of Hunters in their mission to solve the mysteries of the world Invizimals, a dimension parallel to our own in which powerful creatures invisible to the human eye now live and are now threatened by an army of robots. And it is a pioneer in the use of Augmented Reality techniques that allow the viewer to unlock additional content on second screens, through iOs and Android devices thanks to the free app Invizimals: TV Capture or through the portable PlayStation Vita system.
