Broadcast Solutions acquires Videlio Middle-East to accelerate its operations in the Arab world and Africa

With a team of a dozen professionals based in Dubai Media City, Videlio Middle-East was established five years ago and has been serving broadcasters and corporate clients ever since.

Broadcast Solutions has announced in IBC 2019 which has completed the acquisition of Videlio Middle-East, the group's subsidiary Video based in Dubai. This new acquisition adds to Broadcast Solutions' existing operations in the Middle East, led by Munzer Rushdie.

Stefan Breder, CEO of Broadcast Solution, highlights that "our goal is to expand our activities in the Middle East and beyond Africa. This acquisition dramatically increases our ability to serve regional broadcasters and offer fixed installations in addition to our obstetrics vans and mobile platforms."

With a team of a dozen professionals based in Dubai Media City, Videlio Middle-East was established five years ago. It provides services to broadcasters based in the Emirates and countries of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC), as well as providing Command and Control (C2) systems to corporate and enterprise clients such as ADCO, Total, Dassault Systems, Dubai Petroleum or Emirates NBD.

Laurent Mairet, managing partner of Broadcast Solutions FZ, acknowledges that "we are very pleased to join Broadcast Solutions. We gain additional resources and skills to better serve our current and future clients. Broadcast Solutions' experience in live production was a perfect fit for our news, post-production and archival practice."
