Broadcast Solutions acquires Egripment, a company specialized in camera support

Egripment and its rental subsidiary Egripment Deutschland become part of Broadcast Solutions, which will allow the European integrator to expand its portfolio of available products to the area of ​​high-end camera supports, including cranes, remote heads and other solutions created ad-hoc for top-level projects.

With this acquisition, Broadcast Solutions reinforces its position as a global provider of complete production solutions. Egripment combines in-house design and manufacturing capabilities to offer tailored solutions for any production need. This philosophy will continue under the ownership of Broadcast Solutions. Additionally, the company will be represented through Broadcast Solutions offices around the world, allowing customers of Europa y Middle East benefit from direct access to Egripment products, services and support.

In parallel, Egripment HQ y Egripment Germany, with headquarters near Amsterdam and Cologne, will continue to operate its international rental division, which services large events around the world. Its extensive inventory includes cranes, stabilized remote heads and specialized clamping equipment for the most demanding productions. As part of this acquisition, Egripment Deutschland will manage Birds Camera Solutions, a Broadcast Solutions company specialized in advanced camera systems, creating a complete, full-service rental portfolio under the Egripment brand.

The Egripment brand will be led by Philippe Tresfon (general manager) and the subsidiary in Germany for Philip from Senden (operations director) and Martin Dreesbach (technical director). In addition to his position as technical director of Egripment Deutschland, Martin Dreesbach will also continue to perform its functions as senior director of product R&D within the Egripment-Broadcast Solutions group.
