Squirrel acquires the Pretopay platform and the company specialized in tipsters Tipsterpage
Squirrel Media reaches an agreement in principle for the acquisition of 100% of the North American technology company Pretopay, 51% of the digital tipster management platform, GGBA Marketing Solutions (Tipsterpage).
As to Pretopay, it is a payment platform designed to monetize premium social media content in a simple and efficient way. It allows content creators to sell their premium content without worrying about managing payments, user volume, billing or subscriptions, automatically managing registrations, cancellations and collections with automatic renewals. The platform is fully integrated with Telegram and Whatsapp, making it easy to manage subscriptions and payments directly from this platform.
The easy usability of Pretopay increases the conversion rate and sales of content creators by not having to refer users from their environment in order to monetize them. The platform incorporates an Anti-Fraud System that guarantees that only buyers have access to premium content, thus protecting the intellectual property of content creators.
Another great value of the platform is its technology and scalability, since it is prepared for any volume of transactions worldwide with the same cost of resources. Pretopay is a company registered and based in the United States.

According to InfoAdex, advertising investment in influencers grew by 58% in Spain in 2024, reaching 125 million euros."
In fiscal year 2024, the group of companies and businesses included in this agreement reached a accumulated turnover of 22 million euros and an EBITDA greater than 4 million euros, which represents an EBITDA margin close to 20%. According to the nature of the activity of the assets being acquired, Squirrel plans to incorporate the Pretopay and Tipsterpage activity into the TMT vertical, while the activities related to influencers and content creators will be integrated into the media segment.
