Sony will be present at the new edition of the Canal+ Series Festival with 4K cameras
Directors of photography, Pol Turrents and Tommie Ferreras, will use the Sony PMW-F55 camera to show their working methods in 4K fiction production.
He Canal+ Series Festival returns this fall with a new edition for lovers of the series.
La presente edición se celebrará de nuevo en los cines Cinesa Proyecciones de Madrid, del 17 al 19 de octubre, en Cinesa Diagonal Mar de Barcelona, del 24 al 26 de octubre, y el 1 de noviembre en el Cine Albéniz y el Auditorio Museo Picasso de Málaga. Como siempre el acceso al festival será gratuito, hasta completar el aforo.
Para poder mostrar al público asistente cómo se realiza la captación de imágenes de cine con una cámara digital, dos reconocidos directores de fotografía, Pol Turrents y Tommie Ferreras, utilizarán la cámara PMW-F55 de Sony para mostrar sus métodos de trabajo.
In the “Photography Direction Workshop” there will be several live presentations, with examples of how to prepare and take images of these series, using a PMW-F55 camera with a Sony SCL-PK6M Prime lens kit.
The two cinematographers have the opportunity to use the Sony PMW-F55, to capture scenes and moments with maximum 4K technology. It can record images of more than eight million pixel resolution, allowing a resolution that imitates reality and offers great quality in color perception. 4K technology multiplies by four the conventional Full HD resolution and is already widely spread in the film production industry and movie theaters equipped with Sony 4K digital cinema projectors.
