Roland presents its new HDMI / HDBaseT transmitters and receivers
These new equipment are outlined as a complement to its new line of XS audio/video matrices.
Roland has presented two products compatible with HDBaseT which are added to the recently introduced XS series of audio/video matrices.
Both models, the HT-TX01 HDBaseT transmitter and the HT-RX01 HDBaseT receiver, convert HDBasteT signals to and from HDMI. They are designed to support RS-232 audio, video and control over up to 100 meter Cat5/6e cable. The TX/RX pair is ideal for extending HDMI signals over long distances in both live productions and fixed applications.
In addition, the HT-RX01 fits perfectly as a receiver of HDBaseT signal from any Roland XS series multi-format audio/video matrix. Furthermore, in this combination, it is possible to transmit RS-232 through the Cat5/6e cable using a specific cable provided with the converter, to later obtain that RS-232 in the receiver.
These new Roland HDBaseT products are HDCP compliant and support up to 1080p and WUXGA signals over HDMI to connect cameras, computers, Blu-ray, mixers and other sources to LCD monitors, projectors, and other devices up to a hundred meters away. Therefore, they are ideal for carrying out audio/video signal runs for installations in large spaces.
