BTESA will exhibit its new series of medium power transmitters with Doherty technology at NAB 2015

This range of medium power equipment, which incorporates integrated solutions for RF power combining and automatic switching between exciters, provides a quantum leap in efficiency.

Broad Telecom (BTESA) will be present again at NAB, from April 13 to 16 in Las Vegas, to present on this occasion its new series of air-cooled transmitters available for all digital TV standards (DVB-T/H, DVB-T2, ATSC, ISDB-T/Tb...).

This range of medium power equipment, which incorporates integrated solutions for the combination of RF power and for automatic switching between exciters, provides a quantitative leap in efficiency thanks to the use of amplifiers with Doherty Wide Band technology, capable of working in the entire UHF band without the need for adjustments or component changes. With this architecture, powers of up to 1300Wrms (ISDB-T/Tb, DVB-T/T2) and 1900Wrms (ATSC) are achieved in only 9 RU.

For greater safety, each amplifier module has 6 fans in active redundancy and can also include a second, fully redundant “hot-plug” power supply.
