The Spanish company supplies Peru with a 9.3 KWrms digital television station that will be installed in Morro Solar from where it will cover the city of Lima.

Btesa DohertyBTESA (Broad Telecom) through its distributor Broadcast Perú, consolidates its presence in Peru, a country where it has already supplied lower power equipment.

Now it will install a liquid-cooled transmitter in the Morro Solar from which it will cover the city of Lima. This transmitter, which will work in accordance with the ISDB-Tb system, stands out for its high energy efficiency thanks to the use of Doherty technology and electronic regulation pumps, which translates into significant savings in electrical consumption.

It also incorporates multiple protection systems, at all levels and all subsystems, characteristic of the equipment designed and manufactured by BTESA and which are designed to extend the useful life of the transmitters, including, among others, total redundancy in power supplies, pumps and fans and in the control logic.

On the other hand, BTESA will be present again at NAB where it will present its new transmitters with Doherty broadband technology, available in its entire range of transmitters (both air-cooled and liquid-cooled) and for all digital TV standards (DVB-T/H, DVB-T2, ATSC, ISDB-T/Tb...).

It will also show its new control system (including web server, as well as its gap-fillers, with its powerful adaptive echo canceller, capable of delivering up to 150Wrms.
