Egatel supplies a 14KWrms digital TV transmitter in Mexico

The equipment acquired by the Autonomous University of Nuevo León in Monterrey will constitute the highest power Digital TV transmitter operating in the country.

Almost ten years have passed since the first supplies in Mexico, Egatel through your distributor, Group Ten Technology, will increase its presence in this market by installing this equipment over the next few weeks, continuing the project that began with the delivery of a 5KW Dualcast (Analog/Digital) transmitter.

The transmitter, belonging to the TLE6800 series, is characterized by its high energy efficiency and reliability, as it is equipped with the latest LDMOS transistor technology and redundancy in critical elements. It incorporates a liquid cooling system that dissipates heat efficiently and silently, designed to guarantee uninterrupted operation and optimize energy consumption.

The equipment will work in accordance with the ATSC system, the Digital TV standard adopted in Mexico, and will include the latest advances in this technology: the ability to transmit the TV signal to mobile devices (ATSC A/153-MH standard) and operation in single frequency networks (ATSC SFN A/110B:2011 standard).
