It has all the demands of great epic adventures, but also an emotional subtlety that is very difficult to resolve. The Tenerife Symphony Orchestra, led by Diego Navarro, has managed to clear up all doubts about the musical solvency of this project. With years of experience performing film music, it is today one of the best orchestras in the country, and is creating an absolutely memorable soundtrack that makes the film grow until it takes your breath away.”

Annecy

catch the flag has an appointment in Annecy on June 16, as it has been selected by the prestigious International Animated Film Festival to participate out of competition in the work in progress section. Only five films have been chosen by the Festival organization to present their projects within said section, so the film team has received the news with enthusiasm.

Gato highlights that "going through the world showcase that is Annecy is always an honor, but if it is to make an official presentation of the film, something reserved for very few productions each year, a mixture of pleasure and responsibility is generated by the number of eyes that you know will be watching your work, and that pushes even more the entire team in charge of 'Catch the Flag' to take the last steps."

The film, a production of Telecinco Cinema, Telefónica Studios, 4 Cats and Los Rockets AIE, is being animated by Lightbox Animation Studios. Inspired by the space race, it marks the return of Enrique Gato to directing an animated feature film after the success of The Adventures of Tadeo Jones.
