Captivate Entertainment, under the direction of Jeffrey Weiner and Ben Smith, is responsible for an extensive catalog of TV and film developments, including 'The Bourne Legacy' saga.

Rabia

Isla Audiovisual and its partner in the American market, 360 Powwow, have reached an agreement with Captivate Entertainment for the adaptation and co-production in the United States of the original format Rabia, the series that Isla currently produces for Mediaset España.

Rabia is a dramatic series, a true adventure thriller, whose narrative axis focuses on a group of fugitives who, some time after clandestinely receiving an experimental treatment to save their lives, are affected by an unknown virus that causes behavioral disorders, turning them into extremely violent beings. This circumstance is what forces them to live hidden from society, to escape from the authorities and to fight to find a possible cure.

Rabia It joins the list of Isla Audiovisual fiction formats that Powwow has marketed in the United States, as has been the case with the adaptation of Star Crossed, a co-production already made for the CW network and Blood Matters, whose co-production will be announced soon.

Captivate Entertainment, a Los Angeles-based film production company, has an agreement with Universal Studios. The company, made up of Jeffrey Weiner and Ben Smith, is responsible for a wide catalog of developments for TV and film, which includes the saga The Bourne Legacy starring Matt Damon.

The creative team of Isla Audiovisual, a young Spanish company, is responsible for the creation and production of series such as Eva's Fishbowl, Fragiles (both broadcast on Telecinco) and the next production of Mediaset España Rabia.

Víctor García, its CEO, recognizes that "it is an honor to collaborate with the talented Captivate team to co-produce Rabia in English in the United States. An agreement like this demonstrates the international potential of Isla's formats. We are going to play with the best, and in the best league of world fiction."

360 Powwow is a television production company and media consultancy based in Miami, Los Angeles and Buenos Aires, specialized in developing projects between Hollywood and the Hispanic market in the United States, Latin America and Spain. He has developed and produced projects with internationally renowned personalities such as Cesar Millán, Rosenbush/Borden (the Executive Producers of High School Musical), or Nina García, Alessandra Rampolla and Adam Anders (Executive Musical Producer of Glee), among others.

Daniel Gutman, its CEO, admits “we are happy to have added Captivate and Isla among our allies in the production of impact content in today's demanding fiction market.”
