Evertz willing to accompany the industry in its migration to IP

The presence of Evertz In this edition of NAB it focuses on IP-based SDVN solutions, advanced VOD architectures, new editing functions for its DreamCatcher system, complete solutions for UltraHD, various HEVC encoding platforms and robust infrastructure products.
At its booth you can see an extensive portfolio of 10 / 100GE products that take full advantage of Software Defined Video Networking (SDVN) with Magnum control to offer more advanced, robust and reliable IP-based solutions.
As the industry migrates toward an IP-centric installation, Evertz SDVN software with the Magnum orchestration and control tool enables content providers to make a seamless transition from SDI to IP. Over the past year, Evertz SDVN technology has been deployed globally in numerous broadcast facilities around the world. The SDVN solution is built around high-capacity packet switches, a wide range of media gateways and Magnum control.
At this fair, Evertz debuts the new Live-X architecture for video on demand, transcoding and pre-rendering in playlists. Live-X brings together elements such as Mediator, Overture RT RenderX and 3480TXE to offer the market a solution for the generation and delivery of assets for VoD.
As for its DreamCatcher IP-based replay system, Evertz has introduced new features such as advanced editing to streamline the workflow for publishing content to the web, a new 3RU chassis with three channels of Ultra HD (4K) and support for new high frame rate cameras.
En esta cita destaca también la nueva plataforma de codificación HEVC de Evertz 3080UEP diseñada para facilitar aplicaciones multifacéticas en las cabeceras de nueva generación.
Por último, citar que en cuanto a infraestructura, Evertz amplía la familia EQX con el lanzamiento de la EQX10 con soporte para 180×180 o 180×360 ususando salidas de doble densidad en una unidad de 10 RU. También incorcorpa el nueco procesador y distribuidor amplificado 7815VPDA (dual path) y el decodificador prosesional 7881IRD.
