3Zero2 will broadcast the Italian league using Aviwest DMNG Pro 180-RA links

Each stadium will be equipped with two DMNG Pro units that will work in conjunction with two professional HD cameras

The Italian producer 3Zero2 Tv will use fifty DMNG Pro 180-RA uplinks from Aviwest to broadcast the Italian soccer league.

The project, developed by Comsytec, Aviwest's distributor in Italy, provides for the simultaneous transmission of 24 football matches. Each stadium will be equipped with two DMNG Pro units that will work in conjunction with two professional HD cameras in a 720p 50 fps workflow.

Luciano Consigli, CTO of 3Zero2 TV, recognizes that "having the possibility of delivering top quality video is especially important when it comes to sporting events given their fast pace, as clients do not want to miss any details of the action. The DMNG Pro 180-RA solution has a very sophisticated technology in terms of the transmission signal, which allows us to download live HD video of football matches with many frames per second via satellite. In addition, the DMNG Pro units are very easy to transport throughout all 60 stadiums, which considerably reduces operational costs.”

Ease of transport has been, precisely, one of the key elements since each Aviwest device barely weighs one kilo, and can be attached directly to a camera with a V-Mount, Gold Mount or PAGlok mount.
