Archimedia accelerates workflow with Iris
Archimedia has brought together several aspects in a suite to improve file-based production and distribution.
File-based workflow can bring efficiency, scalability and lower costs but it also comes with new challenges that can cause delays at different points.
With its new Iris 1.0 suite, Archimedia It aims to streamline workflow by coordinating multiple locations, work components, approval processes, manipulating video file formats, and resolving file issues and errors under quality control.
Mark Gray, CEO of Archimedia, admits that "professionals who are involved with file-based workflow recognize these areas immediately. These are points in file-based workflow that are fundamentally different from linear workflow, and where reducing time is a challenge."
Aware of all these bottlenecks in workflows and after eight years of development, Archimedia launches Iris 1.0, as a set of applications designed to accelerate processes in key areas.
