On the banks of the Guadalquivir, at the Hotel Ribera de Triana (Seville), 56 experts from technology companies and content producers from more than ten countries will share their experiences at the 4k Summit, a forum organized by the production company Medina Media (leader in the commitment to UHD in Spain).

También los asistentes podrán ver transmisiones de 4K en directo vía satélite, TDT e Internet.

At the same time, personalized Workshops will be developed with free access for professionals in which they will be able to learn how the latest 4K equipment from Canon, Dolby, FilmLight and SGO works. These equipment have been shown at the IBC in Amsterdam, and have been used in films such as Star Wars VII, The Hobbit, The Minimum Island or the latest installment of Mission Impossible, and will be exhibited within a week in Seville within the framework of the 4K Summit.

Flamenco PassionThe event also includes the screening of international productions with a Spanish seal such as Pillars of Hercules (Palearctic), Birds (Avis Productions), Into the Cave of Wonders (Lovetheframe), The Chef of the Sea o Flamenco Passion (Medina Media).

In this first meeting between the world of content and the world of technology in UHD, the demonstrations and projections will be combined with conferences and round tables in which, among others, experts from the world of content and technology such as SES Astra, RTVE, Cellnex, Hispasat, Dolby, Canon, BBC, Sky, Sony, Samsung and Grass Valley, among others, will participate.

Thierry Fautier, president of the UltraHD Forum, and David Wood (DVB), one of the UHD gurus, will be some of the international speakers who will explain when this new technology is expected to reach homes and definitively become the new standard for audiovisual production.
