Celso García wins the award for best script for 'The Thin Yellow Line', a Mexican production that also won the Special Jury Prize

Hong Sang-Soothe movie Right Now, Wrong Then, directed by Korean director Hong Sang-Soo, heads the list of winners of the 53rd edition of the Gijón International Film Festival, in which Arturo Ripstein has won the Best Director Award for the Spanish-Mexican co-production The street of bitterness. The award for Best Actress went to the Moroccan Loubna Abidar, protagonist of Much Loved.

The jury awarded the Best Actor Award to Jung Jae-Young for his work in Right Now, Wrong Then and the award for Best Screenplay went to Celso García for The thin yellow line, a Mexican production that also won the Special Jury Prize “for its solid capacity for narrative and formal synthesis to tell an epic story that relaunches the concept of community, dignity and hope.”
