Frantic pace before the four-way electoral debate produced by Atresmedia

A team of more than 280 professionals are working against the clock finalizing all the details in Studio 10 of Atresmedia in San Sebastián de los Reyes (Madrid) from where the four-way electoral debate will be broadcast on December 7.

These days in Studio 10 of Atresmedia in San Sebastián de los Reyes (Madrid) there is a frenetic pace since from these facilities the debate between the representatives of the four political forces most advanced in the polls for the 20D elections will be broadcast on December 7 at 10 pm.

Soraya Sáenz de Santamaría (PP), Pedro Sánchez (PSOE), Albert Rivera (Ciudadanos) and Pablo Iglesias (Vamos) will participate in the debate, produced by Atresmedia and hosted by Ana Pastor and Vicente Vallés.

In this study of more than a thousand square meters, fifty cameras, 50 cameras and 70 microphones will be used. Of them, eighteen will not miss a single detail of the leaders of the main parties. In the study, 8 hot heads and 3 robotic tracking shots will be used. In addition, Atresmedia will install a “silent camera” (without audio) in each of the vehicles in which the political leaders will go to the headquarters of the audiovisual group.

For the scenography, Atresmedia has opted for an open space bounded by vertical curved canvases with 10,000 LED bulbs. The debate will have 300 people as an audience in the studio.

7D: the Decisive Debate It can be followed in simulcast through Antena 3, LaSexta, Onda Cero, Atresplayer and Antena 3 Internacional, with an estimated potential audience of 68 million viewers in 26 countries.

Twenty-two years after a historic debate

Antena 3 forma parte ya de la historia reciente del país, como la primera cadena en España que ofreció un debate televisado entre los dos candidatos a la Presidencia del Gobierno. Fue el 24 de mayo de 1993, debatían Felipe González y José María Aznar y moderaba Manuel Campo Vidal.

Por otro lado, el presidente del Gobierno, Mariano Rajoy, y el líder del PSOE, Pedro Sánchez, debatirán en un cara a cara el día 14 de diciembre, organizado por la Academia de Televisión.
