GoPro and Periscope have announced an update to the popular app that would allow users to stream video from a GoPro and iPhone action camera.
This integration will allow Periscope's more than ten million users to switch between live streaming from their iPhone camera or from their GoPro, directly from the phone's screen by simply switching between front and rear camera modes.
This update will allow Periscope installed on an iPhone to recognize the GoPro camera as soon as it is connected via WiFi to the smartphone.
This option exclusively for the iPhone version of the app requires a GoPro Hero 4 Black or Silver.

At the moment, Periscope has not announced when it will develop an update for Android.
