The film, co -produced by the desire, is the example of Spain's weight in co -productions that allow to attach the talents on both sides of the Atlantic to make the work grow.

The best Ibero-American film award was for the Spanish-Argentina co-production The clan, a production based on a real police case of the Puccio clan, which shocked Argentine society in the early 80s, since this family, apparently normal, was dedicated to kidnapping and murder, living from the benefits obtained from the bailouts paid by the relatives of the kidnapped.

Frente a Wild stories, this production would be almost antagonistic since while one is lighter and more cheerful, this film is very hard since it speaks of human feelings and inconceivable situations. ”

As associate producer of The clan, Axel Kuschevatcky, journalist specializing in film, screenwriter and film producer (The secret of his eyes, by Juan José Campanela), he told Panorama Audiovisual that "in Spain there is no awareness of the weight that TVE has had in the growth and health of Latin American cinema in the last fifteen years. For us it is essential."
