Quantum will debut at NAB 2016 StorNext 5.3

Among other new features, the latest version of this platform will support the long-term cloud archive service, Q-Cloud Vault.

As much as XcellsQuantum continually extends the ways in which end-to-end workflows can be optimized.

Based on the powerful StorNext 5 platform, NAB 2016 will present version 5.3 with highly flexible configuration in terms of performance and capacity.

The main novelty is the support for the new Q-Cloud Vault cloud storage service.

In addition, StorNext 5.3 is compatible with the new Xcellis storage fabric, which Quantum has already begun shipping.

Another advantage is the possibility of transferring management to Quantum through “cold storage” in the public cloud.

On the other hand, StorNext 5.3 allows end-to-end encryption, allowing users to get the most out of the cloud with a storage infrastructure that facilitates the secure and cost-effective management of digital content, while being online as if they were offline.
