Live music will have a special role at the Panorama Awards gala

In its second edition, the Panorama Awards are committed to live music as the common thread of the sector's big night.

The gala delivery of the Panorama Awards, which recognize excellence in this sector of professionals, solutions, companies and productions, will feature live music as a special guest.

The ceremony, which will be held next Tuesday, May 24, in the South Auditorium of Feria de Madrid (IFEMA), coinciding with the first day of the Professional Exhibition of Audiovisual Technology (BIT 2016), will feature a performance by a musical quartet who, around a grand piano, will create a unique atmosphere.

The soprano Emma Gómez together with the pianist Antonio Escoriza, the violinist David Franco and the drummer Juan Marigorta will fill the auditorium with their music, performing great film and pop songs of all time.

Surely, Emma Gómez's voice, with a timbre halfway between jazz, blues and opera, will surprise all the guests at this special night.

Once the Panorama Awards ceremony is over, the celebration will not stop as guests and winners will be able to enjoy a cocktail in the Main Plaza of Feria de Madrid in which music will also be very present.

The trio formed by vocalist Beatriz Zaragoza, with a voice that is difficult to forget; the Argentine bassist and double bassist, Guido Farusi; and the composer and guitarist, Hugo Fernández, will pay tribute to great classic jazz themes and will perform adaptations of soul or bossa nova. Fernández, considered one of the best guitarists in the country and a regular accompanist of great international artists on their European tours, has just released a new album, Cosmogram, on the prestigious American label Origin Records, with excellent reviews in specialized media such as Downbeat Magazine, Jazztimes or RollingStone.
