InfoComm signs a collaboration agreement with AFIAL

With this agreement, InfoComm aims to expand its reach in Europe and promote the development of the audiovisual industry in Spain.

InfoComm International has signed a collaboration agreement with the Association of Manufacturers, Importers of Sound, Lighting and Audiovisual Technologies (AFIAL). The agreement, which was signed during the InfoComm 2016 fair in Las Vegas, is part of InfoComm's commitment to expand its reach in Europe and promote the development of the audiovisual industry in Spain.

With the signing of this agreement, the two organizations will work together to promote education standards and best practices in the sector in Spain. As Pam Taggart, Chief Development Director for Europe at InfoComm International, points out, "This is a great agreement for both organizations. We have the common goal of promoting the availability of good training in the audiovisual sector, which fits perfectly with the objective of AFIAL."

AFIAL brings together manufacturers, importers and installers of professional sound, lighting and audiovisual technology that work in Spain. The organization seeks to optimize the development of the audiovisual industry by improving the professional skills of its technicians and verifying the basic skill levels to work successfully in the sector.

For its part, InfoComm is an association created in 1939 in which more than 5,000 members participate, including manufacturers, integrators, distributors, rental companies, consultants... focused on AV solutions from 80 countries.
