Pío Cabanillas, new president of the audiovisual group Pro Tv

Pro Tv is specialized in the production of high-end content for new media and supports.

Pío Cabanillas, until now director of Corporate Image and Global Marketing of the Acciona group, has just assumed the presidency of the production company Pro Tv.

The one who was Minister Spokesperson of the Government with José María Aznar between 2000 and 2002 has also been general director of Communication at Endesa (2007-2009), general director of RTVE (1998-2000) and Sogecable (1993-1996).

Among its activities, Pro Tv advises, creates and invests in audiovisual content companies focused on key thematic areas such as nature, adventure, science, music, art or culture.

Based in Madrid, the group includes the companies The Globe Icon (musical production for broadband), Talent Tv (television production), GAC (technical, fiscal and legal advice for audiovisual companies), Smart Planet (3D production and microscopic imaging), The Edge Mobile (organization and filming of expeditions to remote places) and Nexst (brand communication through design and technology).

Among its clients, as highlighted on its website, are public institutions or companies such as RTVE, Instituto Cervantes, Gala-Dalí Foundation, Eurostar, as well as private ones such as Toyota, Abengoa, Círculo de Lectores or BRB Internacional.
